Relates
to
This mantra
relates to the body aspect of the individual and the Cosmic Being.
We experience our gross physical body only in the waking state.
We are totally identified with in that state.
The individual identifying itself with the gross body is called ‘Vishwa’.
The total universe, which is nothing but a manifestation of the Lord, is that
body of the Lord and is called ‘Viraat’.
As Sai is the
whole universe He is the Sun also. Hence,
He is called Sai Surya. With His
Divine Effulgence, He alone illumines and sustains the whole universe and our
individual body, mind and equipment. This
brilliant Sai Surya alone is the pure, eternal, divine consciousness, which is
illuminating everything within and without.
Benefits
of chanting Sai Surya Gayatri
The one who
chants is bestowed with a long and healthy life, strength, skill, stamina, to
pursue the spiritual goal with determination, culminating in Saalokya (living in
Sai consciousness at the waking state) by dispelling the darkness of ignorance
and developing the eye of wisdom and discrimination.
Sathya Sai is,
all therefore he is also Sai Surya (Sun God). The sun is the most impressive
manifestation of self-effulgence in a physical form. Similarly, Swami is the
most powerful manifestation of divine energy in human form.
It will protect
you from harm wherever you are, travelling, working, or at home. Westerners have
investigated the vibrations produced by the Gayatri Mantra and have found that
when it is recited with the correct accent as laid down by the Vedas, the
atmosphere becomes visibly illumined. So the effulgence of Brahman will descend
on you and illumine your intellect when this mantra is chanted.
